The Comox Lake Hostel is situated in the beautiful Comox Valley, midway up the east coast of Vancouver Island and set on 10 acres , surrounded by treed forest, lake, rivers , stunning waterfalls and mountain views. |
| The hiking and cycling trails start in our backyard and provide the traveler the opportunity to explore the true natural beauty of Vancouver Island or enter the reknown Strathcona Provincial Park for more adventure. As a wilderness hostel, wildlife abounds. Bears are often seen in the spring and summer, deer cross your trails, and eagles nest on the river. |  |

The Comox Valley has everything to offer within minutes from the hostel. In summer the area has excellent beaches, superb kayaking and cycling. In winter, Mt. Washington provides the fun with skiing, boarding, snow shoeing and tubing . |
| The hostel offers a comfortable, cozy, quiet atmosphere where you can relax and regain energy after a busy day of hiking, cycling , swimming or skiing . The weary traveler can just take time to recharge and sit by a campfire or lounge in a deck chair in the sun. |  |
